Frequently Asked Questions

Order shipping and processing?

- We typically ship orders next day or if possible same day. Orders must be submitted early in the day EST for them to be shipped same day, but will most likely go out next business day.

I'm new to overlanding and camping! What do I need to get first?

This is a VERY hot topic indeed! Everyone requires different needs and everyone has a different setup than someone else. We always recommend to start from the bottom and work your way up. For example: suspension, tires and maybe a lift. Adding more to your vehicle ads weight and pending how much weight will depend on how "extreme" you get off road. Not everyone needs to start here! For example if you're looking to mainly do weekend trips. Then maybe a nice tent and roof rack will suffice! We also recommend a good storage system such as dividers or you can even get a full cargo build with sliding drawers and more. It really all depends your needs and wants. This is why we are here to help! Please send us a message with any question you have no matter how small they are and we will get back to you almost immediately or that same day!

Do I need a camp fridge instead of a cooler? What's the difference? Does it matter whether I have a cooler or fridge?

No. You do not need a powered fridge. Although a portable powered cooler is a great investment to have, especially on those long trips cross country or many days where there isn't anywhere to get more ice! We personally use powered coolers on all of our trips no matter how big or small. It's a great way to not only to save time and space not having to deal with ice, but it keeps all your food at the same temperature all day long. This way you can avoid having soggy bread, or water leaking into the meat package and contaminating the rest of your food and it's just an all around great choose in our opinion. However, they can be quit pricey and you will need a way to keep them running (e.g. power source) while out on the trail.

How do I keep my fridge running?

There are several ways to run it! Using a power station battery, plug it in the your cars outlet  (wouldn't recommend leaving it plugged in overnight or long periods of time, as it may drain your vehicles battery if the vehicle isn't running), solar power or both. You can have solar charging your power station battery while it's running the fridge throughout the day. As your fridge runs during the night and being it's remaining closed, it wont continuously run and drain down your battery. This insures your fridge will stay running all day and all night to help keep your food fresh. NOTE: When purchasing a power battery, please be sure to get the correct amp hours that can run your fridge. There are many YouTube videos out there that help explain this.

You may also have your fridge plugged into your power battery, then the power battery plugged into your vehicles outlet to charge while running. This way when your vehicle is running it is charging the battery at the same time while also powering your fridge! NOTE: Most vehicle's automatically turn off charging ports on a timer after the vehicle has been shut off to save the battery, but not ALL do this! Make sure to check this before leaving anything plugged into your vehicles outlets to charge for extended times when the vehicle is NOT running! This way you can insure your vehicle will still start in the morning when your going to leave.

DO NOT GET STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE WITH A DEAD BATTERY!!

Do I need a roof rack aftermarket for my RTT (roof top tent) ?

Absolutely ! Most vehicles stock roof racks are NOT equipt the handle the weight of an RTT! There is a major difference between static weight and dynamic weight capacity. The best way to explain this is to think of your car sitting still. You can most likely put any RTT your want on your factory roof rack to a degree. However, this weight while moving shifts, and twists and is very unstable not only while on the road with high winds, but going over bumps, hills and so on. Especially if you plan to do any off roading what so ever. You will need an after market roof rack!

Most people just getting into overlanding and camping, we recommend thats were they start. Choose a very sturdy good looking rack that will complement your vehicle and most importantly (support) that weight!

There are mainly racks out there and most can simply be bolted on with no drilling at all! Also keep in mind you get what you pay for! If it's cheap, it most likely will break or may have some issues down the road. And when you have a tent over 100lbs sitting on top, that's not a good thing! If you are unsure how to install a rack or RTT. You can always checkout Youtube or reach out to us for help ANYTIME for ANY question at all! We will be more than happy to help!

e.g. "Factory roof racks are NOT meant to support RTT(roof top tents)! Just take the time to purchase a roof rack that will keep you and others safe!!

How long are the inflator systems?

- Inflator systems are 18ft in length on the longer hose that stretches the "Length" of a vehicle with a short side that splits off to attach to your other (2) tires.

How hard is it to use the inflator system?

It's actually very easy to use! Simply un-ravel the hose, place each long section along (one) side of your vehicle, connect to each tire you want to inflate/ deflate and open the ball valve at the end. It's that easy!! If your inflating you will repeat this process but will be connected to your compressor for inflating.

How fast can the inflator/ deflator system work?

- Every tire size varies to inflate and/or deflate and cannot guarantee any specific times. However, you can expect a time of around 2-4 minutes for inflation and the same for deflation, pending desired PSI level.

Can you leave the inflators connected to my vehicle?

-Although yes you can leave connected we do not recommend this. We do test our system before shipping over time they may leak over time cause your tires to be deflated over night if left connected. We also suggest storing away when not using to avoid damage. Inflator systems are typically meant for a short term use and not intended to always be connected to your vehicle.

Are the inflation systems heavy?

- Not at all! All together they weight roughly 7lbs or less.

How much space do inflators take up for storage?

- We pack our systems typically in a 10x10 box for shipping , so they are very compact and very easy to store away. We also include a heavy duty velcro storage strap w/ metal D-ring to hang out the way with every system for storage/ organization.
